Earlier this month, Fox chairman Peter Rice confirmed that 'American Idol' would replace longtime judge Paula Abdul, who recently left the show over a contract dispute.It turns out he wasn't lying.
So far, the show has already brought in a whopping seven guest judges for its season 9 audition rounds. The guests represent a wide spectrum of talent and professions -- from country superstars (Shania Twain) to Tony-winning Broadway veterans (Kristin Chenoweth).
