American Idols Top the Charts
The singles from American Idols Season 5s finalists are holding strong. Taylor Hickss single Do I Make You Proud?? is #3 in single sales and Katharine McPhees Over the Rainbow? is #4. The rest of the Top 12 Idols have something to cheer about as well, with the compilation Encores? CD reaching #17.
Country fans are still showing their love for Carrie Underwoods work. Her single Before She Cheats? is at #15 in the Country realm, with the entire CD, Some Hearts?, coming it an impressive #4.
The success of the earlier seasons Idols continues to impress. Ruben Studdard, winner of Season Two, has a new CD out and his single Change Me? has hit the R & B/Hip Hop charts this week at #49. Meanwhile, Season One winner, Kelly Clarkson, has established herself as one of the most talented pop singers today. Her single Because of You? comes in at a remarkable #6.
