An AI Inspired Clothing Line
One chilly afternoon in mid-January, as American Idol Season 7 was about to get underway, a small group of young girls along with American Idol season 5 finalist Lisa Tucker gathered in Hollywood for a photo shoot. With Lisa as inspiration and mentor, the girls were modeling the first items in a new clothing line--LYRIX by Lyric Culture—that celebrates the music and style of the fresh faced, wide eyed hopefuls belting it out for Paula, Randy, Simon and America.
The brainchild of singer/songwriter turned clothing designer Hanna Rochelle Schmieder, LYRIX is rock n’ roll clothing line for girls, and an offshoot of the premium adult contemporary apparel line Lyric Culture. The LYRIX/American Idol collection features everything from T-shirts, denim skirts, jackets, and vests to the ever popular velour hoodies and track outfits.
The first LYRIX tees feature American Idol imagery and feature classic pop and R&B hits performed on American Idol such as "RESPECT," "Bad Day," and "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun." The line also features contemporary hits like "A Moment Like This," made famous by Kelly Clarkson, who just so happens to be a huge fan of Lyric Culture’s adult line. In fact, Idol alums Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry are fans as well.
That line, founded in 2006, features designs inspired by the songs of legendary artists like the Beatles, Marvin Gaye, David Bowie and Janis Joplin to name a few.
“Connecting fans to their music through apparel is what LYRIX is all about, and since American Idol has become synonymous with great music and great fashion, it just seemed like the perfect fit.” She continued, “now girls worldwide can dress like an Idol and express themselves through their favorite songs with LYRIX.”
For those wondering how they too can wear the LYRIX of their favorite Idols, visit LYRIX online to find out more.
