As they say, in Hollywood, it's an honor just to be nominated. And, what an honor it is. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences announced today that Season 3 Finalist Jennifer Hudson has been nominated for an Oscar in the category of Supporting Actress.  By all accounts, Jennifer's performance is spectacular. On the eve of the sixth season of American Idol, Season 3 Finalist Jennifer Hudson won a Golden Globe Award for her performance in "Dreamgirls!" Jennifer won her award for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture and had this to say: "I had always dreamed but I never ever dreamed this big. This goes far beyond anything I could have ever imagined." Americanidol.com congratulates Jennifer!
