Jennifer Hudson’s Album Certified Gold

Considering the recent horrific tragedies in Jennifer Hudson's life, we are pleased to report some excellent news regarding her self-titled debut album.  According to Billboard.com, it only took a mere five weeks for Jennifer's CD to be officially certified gold.  The album, which features a duet with fellow season 3 alum Fantasia, made an extremely impressive debut on the charts. We wish her continued success.  Congratulations, Jennifer!
